Engr. Md. Zahidul Islam, MIEB
Mr. Md. Zahidul Islam is an ICT professional with over 16 years of progressive experience and expertise in developing and executing ICT strategies aligned with business goals, overseeing daily operations and infrastructure, managing IT staff and budgets, ensuring data security and disaster recovery, and selecting and implementing new technologies. He has completed B. Sc. Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) and MBA major in finance from American International University Bangladesh (AIUB).
Mr. Zahid joined Union Capital Limited on August 19, 2019. Currently, He is working as AVP & Head of ICT(cc) of Union Capital Limited.
Before Union Capital Limited, he served Delta Life Insurance Company Limited as Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Information Technology Department and Novotel Limited as Senior System Engineer. Mr. Zahid started his career in 2008 as System Engineer at LEADS Corporation Limited, the largest ICT vendor of the country for 5.5 years. He is certified in various professional certifications like ISO 27001:2013 Lead Implementer, CCNSP, CCNP, CCNA, CVoice, CXFF, CDCP etc. Mr. Zahid has attended a good number of trainings, workshops, and seminars at home and abroad.
