UNION CAPITAL LIMITED OBSERVED NATIONAL MOURNING DAY-2022 MARKING 47TH DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FATHER OF THE NATION.
In memorial of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and observing the 47th death anniversary of Bangabandhu and National Mourning Day, the Members of the Board of Directors showed in silence for few moments to show profound respect to the greatest leader of the Nation and his family members those were brutally killed on 15 August 1975. The Members of the Board discussed about the life of Bangabandhu and his precious contribution for the Independence of Bangladesh. Besides, the following activities of the Management to observe the 47th death anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahmanan and National Mourning Day:
- The National flag was hoisted half-mast at the Corporate Office of the Company at bti Landmark, 16 Gulshan Avenue, Gulshan – 01, Dhaka – 1212.
- UCL paid homage to Bangabandhu, the architect of Independent Bangladesh, by placing wreaths at his portrait in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi – 32 in the capital.
- Special banner on this regard was displayed at the Corporate Office as well as all the branches of the Company and Special Doa and Munajat was seeking for eternal peace for the departed souls of the martyrs.
- A discussion meeting was held on Bangabandhu’s life and work at the Corporate Office of the Company on 16 August 2022.
