Mr. Md. Ferdaush Hossain
Mr. Md. Ferdaush Hossain, Director, Human Resource Department – I, Bangladesh Bank, has been appointed as the Administrator of Union Capital Limited by Bangladesh Bank with effect from 25 August 2025, in the capacity of Managing Director & CEO.
Mr. Ferdaush completed his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Dhaka and later obtained Master of Commerce in Finance and Banking from the same institution. He also successfully completed Banking Diploma (Part-I) from The Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (IBB).
Mr. Ferdaush started his career with Bangladesh Bank in 2003 as an Assistant Director and over the years, has served in various capacities across multiple departments including the Human Resource Department – I, Department of Financial Institutions and Markets, Financial Institutions Inspection Department, Equity and Entrepreneurship Fund Unit, and Agricultural Credit Department. Throughout his career, Mr. Hossain has participated in numerous professional training programs, workshops, and seminars both at home and abroad, including in Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and India.
