The 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Union Capital Limited (UCL) was held on Yesterday, Tuesday, 28 November 2023 on Digital Platform through live webcast.
The Chairman & Independent Director of UCL, Mr. Munshi Shafiul Haque presided over the meeting. Among the Directors Mr. Nadeem A. Chaudhury, Mr. Waqar A. Chaudhury, Mrs. Meherunnesa Haque, Ms. Tajrina Sikder, Independent Director nominated by Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission (BSEC) Associate Professor Dr. Qazi Moinuddin Mahmud and Managing Director & CEO (current charge) Mr. A.N.M. Golam Shabbir were participated in the said AGM on virtual platform. Mr. Mohammad Balayet Hossain, CFO, Mr. Md. Abdul Hannan, Company Secretary (current charge), Auditor’s representative Mr. Asifur Rahman FCA, FCS, Scrutinizing Institute Suraiya Parveen & Associates representative Ms. Suraiya Parveen and a good number of shareholders were also participated in the said AGM on virtual platform.
